37.5 hours per week, 25 days holiday, @£17,500
We are looking for a team player, who is not afraid of hard work, and enjoys working in a busy, demanding environment, making a difference to people’s lives.
As a Driver/General assistant you will be involved in driving our clients to and from the project, taking part in meal deliveries to vulnerable people in the community, undertaking caretaking and maintenance duties, washing up and supporting the catering team. We can provide work experience opportunities for young people at school, and those at college. From 1 week to 6 months, these roles can range from a few hours a week to full time. Areas include catering and hospitality, supporting people with learning disabilities, dementia and mental health issues, business admin, and premises maintenance.
There are a wide range of volunteering opportunities from a couple of hours a month to 3 days a week.
Roles include: Meal delivery driving (in own car), meal delivery assistant, lunch cover for people with learning disabilities, tutor support, catering and hospitality, dementia and mental health support, gardening, administration, maintenance, minibus driving
